Family Law matters involve primarily divorce proceedings in the Probate & Family Court.
Divorce cases involve custody, parenting time, child support, division of property, and alimony. Attorneys at the Firm have considerable skill and experience in the domestic relations matters and Michael Princi and Gerald Garnick serve the Probate Court as assigned conciliators, a sign of the respect which they have in the courts.
The Firm’s attorneys have extensive experience in highly contested, complicated, and complex divorce matters usually leading to the draft and preparation of an amicable Separation Agreement taking into account the multiple factors under consideration by the Probate Court under M.G.L. c. 208 §34. Our attorneys understand that it is often better to negotiate a compromise of complex cases rather than waste valuable family resources to achieve a usually predictable result. Our attorneys have the ability to analyze and assess marital assets and appropriate divisions given the facts and circumstances of each case.
