Biography

Harrison Barrow joins Princi Mills with over thirteen years of trial experience in local courts. A third-generation attorney and second-generation Massachusetts criminal defense lawyer, Harrison has a strong record of success in representing clients in Superior and District courts throughout the Commonwealth. With a trial success rate of over 90%, he has built a reputation for excellence and dedication to his clients' best interests.

Harrison received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, concentrating in Social Sciences and focusing on Psychology. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law as a merit scholar, where he also received a certificate in criminal litigation. While at Chicago-Kent, Harrison attended the Summer Program in Law at Cambridge University, United Kingdom, and served as an associate editor for the Chicago-Kent Journal of International and Comparative Law.

In addition to his strong educational background, Harrison has gained valuable experience through various legal positions. He clerked for the Cook County Public Defender's Office, Homicide Task Force in Chicago, Illinois, and interned at the Law Offices of Chicago-Kent. Harrison has also been recognized for his work, receiving numerous awards, such as the First Justices Pro Bono Publico Award, Top 40 Under 40 in Criminal Defense, and Top 100 in Criminal Defense by The National Trial Lawyers. He is also a proud graduate of the National Criminal Defense College.

Harrison's practice extends beyond criminal defense, as he represents children and parents in complex child and family law cases. He is an active member of several professional organizations including the Barnstable Bar Advocates, Massachusetts Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Outside the courtroom, Harrison is a volunteer mock trial coach for a local school and a foster parent for rescue dogs.
